A One-star campsite. This is Le Courounba´s sister campsite. Standing at the gateway to the Parc National des Ecrins and just over the border from Italy, the campsite, protected by the Mont Brison, the highest limestone rockface in France, and bordered by the Gyronde river and its exciting range of white water sports, the peaceful and spacious pitches of this campsite are dotted throughout a 5 hectare forest.
Ideal for nature lovers, who dream of breathing in the pure mountain air of the wide open spaces, the campsite´s visitors will be spoilt for choice as they survey in amazement the unforgettable views over the majestic mountain chains that surround them such as the Mont Pelvoux that peaks at 3943 metres, topped by its eternal snows.

The campsite is a paradise for all kinds of sports groups looking for a slice of the action, whether white water sports, mountain climbing, paragliding, horse riding, fishing, rock climbing, viaferrata, archery or a thrilling Alpine slide experience, not to mention the over 700 hiking or mountain biking trails. The natural environment is bursting with a wealth of wild plants and animal such as marmots, chamois, birds of prey or rare and protected plants such as the blue thistle.
